This service depicts 2016 AM and PM peak period traffic flows based on SANDAG's activity based model (ABM) v14.0.1
Directional traffic flow (volume) values were combined into a single value for two-way links, with one way (e.g. freeway) links retaining their original values. These values were then multiplied by .05 to prepare the features for buffering using ArcGIS Pro software. The output polygon feature class was then dissolved, which in most cases result in a single feature for roadway segments depicting total (combined directions) AM or PM peak period flow. Data is for cartographic/information purposes and not intended for analysis.
